In May 2005, I established KACT Co., Ltd. with a Chinese friend I met during my 30 years of public service.

• Working together in join partnership, the head office in China is in charge of market development and management of the Chinese side, and KACT Co., Ltd. is in charge of market development and service in Korea. We exclusively import and export products such as polyimide film (PI FILM), silica, copper foil, glass fiber, and carbon.
  
  Currently, most domestic Korean companies are seeking to improve their competitiveness by converting the import of expensive raw materials from the United States, Japan, Europe, and other advanced countries to the Greater China Region with the aim of reducing production costs. However, during the process of importing raw materials from China, there are frequent occurrences of major disruptions to production schedules due to supply shortages, transportation issues, and market fluctuations, among other factors. Due to this problem of supply instability, it was up to the working-level managers of domestic companies to bear this high risk and overhead in order maintain supply to existing high-priced raw material customers.
  
  We at KACT Co., Ltd., provide stable unit prices and smooth supply volume by directly managing supply instability at our head office in China to circumvent these supply chain challenges.
